Fee policy

Cancellations, waiting time, mileage, and site conditions.

These policies protect reserved collector time and travel costs while keeping client charges predictable.

Cancellation and no-show fees

  • More than 24 hours before service: no cancellation fee.
  • Between 4 and 24 hours: $50 per scheduled site visit.
  • Less than 4 hours, donor/client no-show, or after collector dispatch: $75 minimum, plus applicable travel and committed expenses.
  • For group events, Dapsim may require payment for a percentage of the confirmed donor count when attendance materially falls below the confirmed roster without sufficient notice.

Dispatch fee for multiple donors

The standard $75 dispatch fee is charged once when multiple donors are collected at the same address during one continuous scheduled visit. A new dispatch fee applies for a different location, a separately scheduled time block, another day, or a return trip for a donor who was unavailable or missed the original event.

Ordinary waiting time

The first 15 minutes are included. Additional waiting is billed at $25 per started 30-minute increment. After-hours waiting may be quoted at a premium rate.

Shy-bladder procedures

Where a DOT shy-bladder procedure applies, Dapsim follows the governing collection requirements. Collector waiting is billed at $40 per hour in 30-minute increments, with a recommended maximum additional charge of $100 for standard-hour cases unless the written quote states otherwise. The collector does not make the employer’s final refusal determination.

Mileage and travel

Travel within 15 miles is included in the standard dispatch fee. Zone fees apply beyond 15 miles. Parking, tolls, gated-access charges, and other extraordinary travel expenses are additional. Distances are calculated one way from Dapsim’s dispatch location.

Site readiness

The client must provide safe access, a suitable collection environment where required, an available donor, and any necessary employer or TPA authorization. Unsafe, inaccessible, or noncompliant conditions may result in delay, rescheduling, or a dispatch/no-show fee.

Written quote controls

Where a written quote or service agreement conflicts with these general policies, the signed or accepted written terms control for that assignment.
